For 15 years now, London Heritage Training’s acclaimed course in Tour Guiding has built up a reputation for excellence, helping students craft and lead unforgettable walking tours. Originally focusing on Westminster only, we are excited to have expanded our focus since 2025. Our new course, The Art of Tour Guiding, prepares students to guide right across central London.
The course is renowned for blending expert knowledge with research, storytelling and presentation skills – helping you find your own voice and become the most confident and engaging guide you can be. It is led by Dr Caroline Dunmore, a former University of Oxford Research Fellow with over 20 years’ experience in adult education.
“A five-star recommendation for anyone aspiring to become a first-class tour guide! Completing this course has been one of the most rewarding experiences. Over eight months, this brilliantly structured and organised programme became the highlight of my week… Caroline is an absolute powerhouse in her field, and her passion is infectious.”
